Let me introduce my self…

My name is Jeff Mayes and my hobby & profession is ELECTRONICS. From an infant I would take things apart to see why they worked… and put them back together again! I am a self-taught electronics engineer with a BS from the school of hard knocks. Currently I engineer products to make home life easier by automation. Electronics is my Hobby… and I love to tinker with every kind of electronic item I can get my hands on, to me it’s a learning experience. This leads to a garage, storage bay, friend's spare spaces & every nook and cranny filled up with electronics stuff that I don’t feel are exactly trash! Most of the time I will figure out everything there is to know about a item then shelve it for later use… which sometimes never happens. I walk flea markets, garage sales, close outs, surplus stores & everywhere I think I can get a electronic bargain. Lately I have trashed lots of stuff that was just plain getting obsolete that I figured would never get used- THAT HURT!

That my stuff is useful to someone out there in cyberspace! Much like a virtual surplus store my page will highlight these prizes of mine for anyone who thinks they can use them. The price is CHEEP! If it’s not cheep enough, make an offer! I will not only offer the item, but all the knowledge that I have on that item, handwritten schematics, notes on operation, printed materials & software that I found that work with that item. On this website I will not only list the details of the operation of these items, but a picture & exact condition (as last I remember) of the item. Some times there will be one of an item, sometimes there will be a pile (hundreds or thousands). First come first serve.
